Gravis Law Welcomes Three New Principal Attorneys In Its Boise Office
BOISE, ID: Gravis Law, PLLC, is excited to announce three new principals in the areas of Business Law, Human Resources, and Estate Law & Family Law: Penelope Gaffney, Reuben Ortega, and Stephen Sennett. As principals, Penelope, Reuben, & Stephen will continue to guide Gravis Law in its mission to provide accessible and world-class legal services.

Penelope S. Gaffney is a powerful advocate for her clients’ interests and goals. Her litigation practice focuses on family law, guardianship, conservatorship, probate, and trust cases. Penelope is a member of the Idaho State Bar Trust, Taxation and Probate Section, the Family Law Section, and the Ethics and Professionalism Section. She is also a member of the Idaho Women Lawyers. Before joining the Gravis Law Team, Penelope was a successful solo practitioner, handling family law cases including divorces, modifications and adoptions, and estate planning. Penelope graduated from the University of California – Hastings College of the Law and served as a Pro Se Law Clerk for Eastern District of California, Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals for the United States Federal Court. Penelope has practiced law in Boise, Idaho, since 2003.
Reuben J. Ortega is an entrepreneur at heart. His experience as a business owner, trusted business advisor, and strategic corporate partner makes him an essential resource for the many public and private business clients his team supports. Reuben truly enjoys working with fast pace startups and emerging companies. Reuben also spends a great deal of time helping his community. He currently serves as a board member of the Alzheimer’s Association: Greater Idaho Chapter, and volunteers generously with his church. Previously, Reuben served as a Board Member of the Seattle Children’s Museum and as a Charter Organization Representative of Boy Scouts of America. Before coming to Gravis Law, Reuben was a founding partner of Ortega Law, PLLC. Reuben earned his J.D. graduating with High Honor for community service from the University of Iowa College of Law.
Stephen Sennett is the Chief Human Resources Officer for Gravis Law, PLLC. In addition to practicing labor and employment law, Stephen’s experience as a trial attorney makes him an essential part of Gravis Law’s executive team. Stephen graduated cum laude from Gonzaga University School of Law.
